Runs
We are a mixed ability group with steady runners, Jeffers and power walkers. Our evening runs are usually around 5k and are often a timed out & back which means everyone starts and finishes together no matter what their pace - the faster runners just go further in the set time. Our power walkers will usually cover around 3 to 4k in that time.
We occasionally host coached sessions too including hill training and intervals to mix it up - again these can be adapted for all levels, including our power walkers.
We also sometimes arrange weekend social runs which include cake stops.
Return to Running Mini Course (NEW)
From 22nd October 2024, join us for a four week mini-course to build back up to running 30 minutes. This is suitable for you if you’ve not run consistently for a short while but you wouldn’t consider yourself a complete beginner. We’ll build up with walking/running intervals and expect you to do 1 or 2 other runs between group sessions to build back to 30 minutes by the end.
