Keep Running

Here at Let’s Run Girls, we recognise running is easier with like-minded company! We know it can be hard to keep a regular running habit going, especially as motivation can ebb and flow throughout the year. Whether you’re a graduate of our beginners programmes or you’ve been running solo and only recently discovered Let’s Run Girls, our Steady Runs are a great way to keep up your running whilst enjoying the social element of running in a group.

Who is the Steady Run suitable for?

The steady run is suitable for women who are already able to run for 30 minutes continuously. So if you’ve completed one of our beginners programmes, or perhaps you’ve done Couch to 5k independently or you’ve been running for years but you’ve only recently discovered Let’s Run Girls and you’re looking for some like-minded company, the Steady run is a good option for you.

How far do you run in the Steady Run?

The Steady Run can vary slightly in distance, and different members of the group might cover slightly different distances in the same session depending on how the Run Leaders manage the session. For example, if the group does an out and back route, in a 30 minute run, some runners could cover close to 6km whereas others could be less than 5km. Steady Runs tend to last for at least 30 minutes.

When can I join a Steady Run?

Most of our groups offer a regular Steady Run all year round and new runners are welcome to join at any time of year. You can find your local group using our Group Locator tool.

How much does it cost?

All our run sessions are free to join and are made possible by our amazing team of volunteer run leaders.
